Just to let you all know, I will try my hardest to keep up on the blog. Thank you to all who have left me comments and words of encouragement. It helps me tremendously!!!! I will try to get pictures up as soon as possible.. most of the computers I have been using are old and they do not take my memory chip. So much to write about, but so little time at the computer. I had been wondering how you were doing and then came a letter the same day from the office with your blog address. I am so inspired by you and your dream. Hello Sweets!!!!! We have been thinking about you every night. Kylie and I say a little prayer for big emily... ha ha... I sure wish i was with you... why didn't we think of this when we were younger?? Anyway, I am so excited for you!! It sounds so great and terriable and great again... I am glad you found some people to go with.. Makes it a little better.. We are all good here. The baby BOY is getting bigger and I am starting to waddle. ha ha... So on your trip think of some names for boys.. :)

I did flash back on our conversation about your concern that you perhaps didn't feel prepared for winter camping. I trust you have gained that experience now! The stories you tell of the warmth, generosity, and friendship you are encountering on the trail are remarkable and renew my faith in humanity. I can honestly say that I am SO JEALOUS; you are doing something that I can truly only dream of...Were I in a different place in my life (like ummm not PREGNANT and the mommy of a toddler, LOL) I would SO SO be there with you. I can only imagine how wonderfully beautiful, awe inspiring and spiritually enlightening it would be to be out amongst nature in the mountains, testing your physical and mental strength and endurance.
